Biography:Professor Markus Antonietti is the director of the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Germany, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and a Foreign Member of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences. He is an internationally renowned expert in materials chemistry and nanotechnology, having achieved outstanding results in the fields of polymer synthesis, porous materials, green chemistry, and energy materials. He has published over 800 SCI academic papers in top international journals and has been granted 90 patents. In the past decade, more than 60 of his academic papers have been recognized as ESI “highly cited papers”, and he has been listed among the top 50 materials scientists in the world by ISI. His h-index is 207, and his work has been cited over 169,000 times. He has received numerous international awards, including the Liebig-Denkmünze Award, the Humboldt-Gay Lussac Award, and the Macro Group Lifetime Achievement Award. He also serves on the editorial boards of journals such as Progress in Polymer Science. He has supervised over 220 doctoral students, more than 70 of whom have become internationally renowned professors. Professor Antonietti places great importance on academic exchanges and collaborative research with China, and has made outstanding contributions in both collaborative research and talent cultivation.
