Biography: Hans-Peter Steinrueck is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and a professor at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany. He holds membership in three academies: the European Academy of Sciences, the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, and the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He has published over 460 SCI-indexed papers with an H-index of 76. His main research focuses on surface chemistry and interfacial physical chemistry, in-situcharacterization of heterogeneous catalytic processes, and surface reaction mechanisms related to energy conversion.
